I am excited to share with you some of the special relationships I have developed through my journey in fitness. It's my goal that you leave this day motivated, confident and ready to apply what you learned and experienced. Bring an open mind and your ‘fun’...I can guarantee you will learn a lot. This is going to be a day you will remember for the rest of your life!

    Chris Hinshaw Bio

    former All American swimmer and an experienced professional triathlete with top international finishes including a 2nd place overall finish at the Hawaiian Ironman World Championships, 2nd place overall finish at the World Championships in Canada, and a 1st place overall finish at Ironman Brazil as well as  2-time member of Team USA.

    Coach Chris has been a CrossFit athlete since 2008. He specializes in endurance coaching for the CrossFit athlete. He is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, CrossFit Competitor Course certified, Endurance Course certified, CrossFit Mobility certified, Rocktape Doc and CrossFit coach at NorCal CrossFit. He currently shares his coaching and endurance methodology through his on-line coaching at aerobiccapacity.com.

    He is the endurance coach to hundreds of CrossFit athletes that range from the day-to-day CrossFitter looking to efficiently and effectively improve their fitness, to more than two-dozen podium athletes at the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 CrossFit Games including Rich Froning, Jason Khalipa, Katrin Daviosdottir, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, Mat Fraser, and Julie Foucher.   

    Coach Chris created the Aerobic Capacity Seminar for CrossFit coaches, athletes, and enthusiasts around the world looking to create a more robust and efficient aerobic system.  In doing so, he partnered with CrossFit, Inc. and joined exclusive list of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).  In his seminar, Coach Chris details how he integrates various training methodologies into CrossFit programming to maximize overall athletic performance.

    Matt Bruce Bio 

    Matt was born in New Orleans, LA and moved to Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 13. While here for his 8th grade year, Matt began lifting under legendary Coach Gayle Hatch to get stronger and faster for the football team. Soon, Matt fell in love with weightlifting and throughout the course of his 17 year career he became one of the most decorated Olympic weightlifting athletes in USA History. Since retiring in 2012 from competition, Matt has transitioned into coaching his barbell club, Bruce Barbell, and is the Olympic weightlifting coach for the online programming team at BrUTE Strength. Matt graduated from Louisiana State University with a Master’s degree in Sports Management and also teaches Special Education full-time for a local school district.
